Our History
Elmill celebrated 40 years of trading in 2025. From humble beginnings in Westbury, the Group has grown to four autonomous businesses that supply some niche engineering solutions.
Elmill began as an engineering business servicing the local industrial and manufacturing businesses in the South West, swaging skills were recruited into the business in 1995 to address an opportunity in the provision of traditional technology. The range of services has evolved to include CNC Engineering, coded welding, assembly, swaging machines and end forming solutions.
· 2015 – KM Engineering was acquired to add CNC Engineering skills of the exotic materials for the oil and gas markets.
· 2018 – FGL Precision was acquired to add additional CNC capacity and to diversify into Aerospace and gear cutting.
· 2024 – Adcutech was acquired, to add more CNC capacity, efficiency in volume production and secure cell door hatches.
All of the businesses have traded for over 30 years and an entrepreneurial culture has seen them all evolve through investment to adapt to the changing industrial environment.
Each business is managed autonomously with the support of a Group support functions and financing.
